Bead Annealing
If you do not have your own kiln to anneal your beads you can send them to me!
Once you have made your beads at home and let them cool in a fibre blanket or other thermal product, clean them, package them carefully and send them to me with a return addressed courier bag and I will anneal them for you. One kiln cycle will fit about 90 to 110 beads - depending on size. If i think they won’t fit into one cycle i will let you know beforehand.
This service includes the cost of the kiln fire paper, the time taken to load the kiln with your beads and the firing/annealing cycle. Once done I will send your beautiful creations back to you.
Allow 1 - 5 days for this process - it just depends what other work load I have on at the time.
Please note, it is important that you tell me the brand of glass that you have used so that I can use the correct heating and cooling cycle for your glass beads. Also include the exact number of beads or glass items that you are sending.
Students who have already done a class with me receive a $5 discount.
